Tamara created the blueprint & design for New York City's Department of Small Business Services website, Career Discovery NYC.
Career Discovery NYC is a website designed for New Yorkers to learn about specific careers in specific industries and the necessary skills to obtain employment in those occupations.
Through Career Discovery NYC, New Yorkers can also access courses that will help them become more familiar with computers, use the internet to get a job, and improve everyday online skills.
In addition to the Career Discovery NYC website, Tamara also edited and produced the Career Discovery NYC Newsletter. The newsletter was used as an additional guide for Career Discovery NYC subscribers and to help keep them updated on new program launches.
Girl Scout Troop 6000 Activities
Troop 6000 Cookie Sale in partnership with Kellogg's
Girl Scout Troop 6000 partnered with the Union Square Kellogg's store for the second year in row to sell cookies to New Yorker's. In addition, to selling cookies, the girls also received a cooking and nutrition workshop and were selected for interviews with new media.
Camp Kauffman Troop 6000 Logistics, Registration & Planning
Planned for over 100 Troop 6000 Girl Scouts from all 5 boroughs to attend Girl Scout camp in upstate New York. Planning included a girl scout camp campaign, transportation & logistics, parent follow-up, translation, supply purchases, and participant coordination at the camp.
Troop 6000 Newsletter
Created and produced the Troop 6000 quarterly newsletter. This newsletter highlighted Troop Leaders, upcoming workshops and events, and the amazing work of the Troop 6000 girls.
Tamara managed JetBlue's internal and external media projects and campaigns. Project topics highlighted JetBlue's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, employees, announcements, events, and included partner videos with the Boston Red Sox, L.A. Dodgers, and Real Salt Lake City.
In addition, Tamara also managed JetBlue's asset library, wrote scripts, managed production calendar, and casted talent for videos.
BlueCity Series News Program
Produced JetBlue's Blue City news television show. The Blue City News was a show that highlighted JetBlue Crewmembers, new station openings, and company-wide events.
People Department Recognition Committee & Awards
Spearheaded and formed the JetBlue People Department recognition committee to help build employee moral. The recognition committee highlighted employees that were working above and beyond. These efforts created the blueprint for the current company-wide recognition program, Lift.
Canard Inc. Employee Manual
Tamara created the Canard Inc. Employee Manual for even staff.
Moms LOVE Toy Drive
Moms LOVE Toy Drive for children living in Queens Shelter. Organized Toy Drive and partnered with the Girl Scouts of Greater NY, The Queens Library, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority to collect over 200 gifts for children in need.
