Web Development Program
In 2021, while working for the Department of Small Business Services, Tamara successfully launched the Future Code Web Development Program serving up to 45 New Yorkers per cohort. Future Code is a no-cost training program that prepares participants to become software engineers in under a year.
CUNY
Tech Talent Pipeline Residency
In partnership with John Jay College and The College of Staten Island. Tamara oversees the CUNY Tech Talent Pipeline Residency program. This program targets Computer Science and related majors and helps participants get additional web development training during a 4-10 week bootcamp. Students are then connected to paid internships and receive assistance connecting to employment as web developers and software engineers. This program has served close to 300 students.
In 2016, Tamara founded Moms L.O.V.E. Inc., a community-based organization supporting mothers through educational workshops, networking opportunities, and special events.
Moms L.O.V.E. Inc. runs a series of programs annually and partners with other local community-based organizations in the Queens, NY, area.
